Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026. Effective on first use.
Palimap is a service of Go Be Strong LLC (“Palimap,” “we,” “us”), a Washington limited liability company. “Palimap” is a registered trade name. By using palimap.com or any Palimap service (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Palimap provides online civic maps and related tools, including public city maps, Lenses (saved, shareable map views), scenario drawing, and data import, plus per-city plans (Public Maps and Public Works) for municipalities. Reading a published map requires no account; creating and saving your own work requires an account and, for some features, a paid plan.
2. Accounts
Accounts use a one-time email sign-in link (no passwords). You are responsible for the email account you sign in with and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period (monthly, six-month, or annual, as selected) until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal; cancellation stops the next renewal and your plan remains active through the period you've paid for. Fees are stated exclusive of any applicable taxes. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; we may offer a prorated credit or refund at our discretion. We may change prices with notice; changes apply to the next renewal.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload malware, attempt to disrupt or probe our systems, scrape at a scale that burdens the Service, or misrepresent whose data or views a map shows. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the Service or others.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the data and views you create — your Lenses, scenarios, imported layers, and suggestions. You grant us a non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service (including showing a Lens you choose to share via its link). You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, and for not uploading confidential or personal information you shouldn't. You can delete your content, or your account, at any time; some backups may persist for a limited period.
6. Public data and accuracy
Palimap assembles public data from many sources (census, FEMA, USGS, USDA, OpenStreetMap, Overture, the Library of Congress, state and county records, and others), and some layers — notably parcels and zoning — are reconstructed from the best available evidence and may be labeled as drafts. Palimap is an informational tool, not a survey, title search, legal boundary determination, flood certification, or engineering record. Do not rely on it as the authoritative source for property lines, regulatory decisions, emergency response, or any purpose requiring a certified record. Verify with the official source before acting.
7. Our intellectual property
The Palimap platform, software, design, and branding are owned by Go Be Strong LLC. These Terms don't grant you rights to them except to use the Service as intended. Underlying public data remains subject to its own sources' terms.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Go Be Strong LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continued use means you accept them. You may stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or end access as described above or if we discontinue the Service.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Washington will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
