Palimap

Make the map your own.

A Lens is your curated reading of a place: the layers you choose, your own data layered in, framed and saved as a link you can share. The whole civic point is that you can send a selectman a map — and make an argument about a better future.

What you can do

1
Combine maps into your own view

Turn on just the layers that matter — parcels, flood, zoning, the historic Sanborn ghost — and frame the city the way you see it.

2
Draw, edit, and design

Propose a park, redraw a boundary, or import your own GeoJSON as a layer — your data renders right alongside the public map, with its own styling.

3
Save & share unlimited views

Every view is a Lens with a link. Send it to a neighbor, a reporter, or a selectman — no account needed to open it.

The details

Import a GeoJSON file and it keeps its own colors; mark uncertain geometry and it draws honestly (solid, dashed, dotted). Bring in the Sanborn historic layer where it survives. Share a Lens publicly or keep it private — it's yours.
